Lord willing, we will be celebrating the Lord’s Supper next week Sunday, September 9. There will be a Fellowship Meal immediately following the morning worship service. All are welcome. The meal is provided. Please feel free to invite family and friends.
Rev. Brian Najapfour will be leading a combined men and women’s Bible Study on Evangelism. The subject of the first Bible Study will be: What is the Gospel? The time will be from 7-8:00p.m. on Wednesday, September 5. Everyone is invited – and if you would like to invite any guests, please do.
The Ladies’ Evening Bible Study will be meeting on Tuesday night beginning on September 11. We will resume our study of “Reservoirs of Strength” Lessons from the Book of James written by Gerald M. Bilkes a Puritan Reformed Theological Seminary professor. The study will begin with Reservoir 5. The Lord willing, we will be meeting the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of every month through the month of November. Please feel free to join us. If you need a book, please contact Arlene Nobel.
The Ladies’ Morning Bible Study will be meeting on Wednesdays. We will meet on September 12 and 26, at 9:30a.m. The subject is: Joy! A Bible study on Philippians for women. Please contact Jan VanderWal if you would like a book. All are welcome!
Lamont & Eastmanville Tour of Homes: September 7 & 8 from 10:00a.m. – 5:00p.m. These 6 homes in Lamont & Eastmanville will speak to you about history, restoration, gardening, decorating, sculpturing, and more. Tickets (booklets with pictures/information are available at Coopersville Hardware; Broene’s Furniture and True Value in Allendale. Tickets are $10.00 prior to the event. You may write a check to Lamont Civic Assoc. Send it to P.O. Box 1, Lamont, MI 49430. Your prepaid ticket will be reserved for you at the Lamont Church in the village. Tickets will be available at any home or at the church on the days of the tour for $15.00. A delightful lunch/coffee, dessert will be available at the Lamont Church in the village. Tell your friends.
