2nd Annual Kristina Moelker 5K Race/Walk Please join the ACS community in our second 5K race/walk event on Tuesday, May 14 at Allendale Public High School at 6:30p.m. Racers may pick up their race packets on Monday, May 13 from 3:30-4:00p.m. or beginning at 5:30p.m. the evening of the race. All ages are welcome to run, jog or walk. Late registration after April 19 is $15; however, we cannot guarantee t-shirts to those registering late. Scrap Metal Drive 2019 – May 3 & 4: Unity Christian will once again hold a Scrap Metal Drive to raise funds for the Education Foundations of Hudsonville Christian and UCHS. The drive will be held at 5790 Balsam Dr. in Hudsonville (across from Hudsonville Lanes) from Noon – 8:00p.m. on Friday, and 8:00a.m. – 2:00p.m. on Saturday. Unity Christian Golf Outing: You are invited to join us at the Unity Christian Golf Outing, which will take place on Monday, June 3 at Sunnybrook Country Club in Grandville. This fun event offers either a morning or afternoon flight of golf at a beautiful course, prizes, food, and fellowship with other Unity Christian supporters! You can sign up as a golfer, sponsor, or both in this outing that benefits the Unity Christian Education Foundation and Unity Christian Athletics. Zion Christian School will present its Spring Band Concert on Thursday, May 9, and its Spring Choir Concert on Friday, May 10. Please join us for a wonderful night of worship and music. Both concerts will be at 1st Byron CRC and start at 7:00p.m.
Zion Christian School is seeking a full time secondary(7th – 12th) English and History teacher. Class load consists of 7th grade ELA, 8th grade ELA, 11th grade US History, and 12th grade English. This position will also teach a middle school composition class using the Institute for Excellence in Writing curriculum so familiarity with this curriculum is a plus.
